June Retreat Topic

Real self-confidence - Fri 13 - Sun 15 June

Are you plagued with low self-confidence? Do unhelpful habits make it hard to believe you can change? Despite your best efforts, are your attempts to improve your life hampered by self-sabotaging thoughts and behaviours?

Many of us have this experience, which makes us feel very down on ourself and discouraged about our life.  But we can reverse this situation.

Buddhist wisdom reveals our extraordinary capacity for change and growth, guiding us to become the very best version of ourself.

During this retreat, take practical steps to realising your true potential. Gain tools to develop the strength and capacity of your mind, that’ll enable you to become the truly happy, self-confident person you wish to be.

Feel empowered in your capacity for change and growth; your ability to live a happy, fulfilling life and to have a stable and genuine basis for feeling great about yourself.

During this retreat, you’ll learn:

  • How to calm your mind when negativity takes over
  • How to relate to your vast potential, rather than your perceived limitations
  • How to develop strength over your negative inner voice and deal constructively with perceived faults
  • How to gradually transform your mind through meditation
  • How to develop stable self-confidence and belief

Treat yourself. Care for your own mental health and well-being during this weekend meditation retreat with Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Ani. There will be talks, meditations, discussions and time to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. Be kind to your mind and return to daily life re-energised and inspired.
