Join us for a one-day unguided Vajrasattva Retreat — a special opportunity to engage in the powerful purification practice of Buddha Vajrasattva.
Vajrasattva practice is one of the four great preliminary guides, known formally as The Preliminary Great Guide of Meditation and Recitation of Vajrasattva. Through this practice, we purify negativity, remove obstacles to our spiritual development, and create the inner conditions for deeper peace, clarity and progress in meditation.
During each retreat session, we will recite prayers from Offering to the Spiritual Guide and Meditation and Recitation of Solitary Vajrasattva, with time for quiet mantra recitation. This is a beautiful and practical method for letting go of the heaviness of past negative actions, mental habits and mistakes, and developing a fresh, positive direction in our life.
The retreat is unguided, which means there will not be teaching or guided meditation during the sessions. Instead, participants follow the prayers together and spend time in personal mantra recitation and meditation. This creates a quiet, focused and blessed environment where we can engage in purification practice at our own pace.
There are three 1.5-hour sessions throughout the day, and you are welcome to attend one, two or all three sessions.
Session times:
9:00am – 10:30am
11:00am – 12:30pm
1:30pm – 3:00pm
Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary, but if you have not attended this type of retreat before, please arrive 5–10 minutes early so you can familiarise yourself with how the session will run and ask any questions before we begin.
This retreat is a meaningful way to purify the mind, strengthen our spiritual practice, and reconnect with our potential for peace, happiness and positive change.
