Seize the day - Living in the moment

Saturday 17 May

About the workshop

Seize the day: living in the moment
Do you find yourself stuck in the past or anticipating and daydreaming of better times to come in the future?
Do you find you’re rarely fully present in the here and now?
With our mind habitually racing into the future and dwelling in the past, it feels very difficult to seize the day and truly live in the moment.
Through timeless Buddhist wisdom and meditation, you can learn to let go of this limiting mental habit, and to enjoy life to the full – feeling alive and fully present in every moment.
Join us for this special event with visiting teacher Kelsang Jangsem, and learn techniques for making your mind comfortable and content amidst the chaos of modern life. Through this, you’ll discover your happiness in the here and now.
There will be guided meditations, inspiring teachings and an opportunity to enjoy the company of a community of like-minded people.
You will learn:
  • How to cultivate calm and contentment, here and now;
  • How to feel alive and fully present in each moment; and
  • How to improve your life through meditation.

Everyone welcome!

What to Expect

Over three sessions, Jangsem will explain how you can learn to let go of this limiting mental habit, and to enjoy life to the full.

We sit in comfortable chairs or a cushion on the floor if you prefer. A delicious home-made morning tea will be served during the first break to give you time to relax, absorb the teachings and to make new friends. Please bring your own lunch or take a stroll to a local cafe. Everyone is welcome.
