Spend the long weekend in a beautiful environment and immerse yourself in teachings & meditations that help us develop the mental views that allow us to easily adapt to change on this guided retreat with the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane – Gen Kelsang Rabten.
The Retreat Topic
The only thing that doesn’t change is change itself – and yet so often we fight against the changes in our life, wishing they weren’t happening. On this retreat we will focus on developing the right mental views that allow us to easily adapt to the changes that come in to our life, enabling us to accept them with an open and accommodating heart.
This retreat will be held at Luther Heights Youth Camp in Coolum Beach, set on 37 acres just across the road from the beach. The retreat will begin with dinner at 6pm on Friday 3 May followed by an introductory talk at 7.30pm and conclude with lunch on Monday 6 May. Each session of the retreat is one hour long and consists of teachings, guided meditations and time for questions. Please book early for the retreat if you would like to attend.
