Friday Night Lecture - Past and Future Lives

Why am I here & where am I going?

Friday 6 December · 7.30-9pm

Why am I here? Where am I going? Join Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Rabten, for an insightful and interesting look at past and future lives. Many people believe that when the body ends at death, the continuum of the mind also ceases, and the mind becomes non-existent, like a candle flame going out when all the wax has burned. But is this true and how can we know? Learn how an understanding of past and future lives can help us gain a fresh perspective on life and death that we can use to solve our problems now and find a meaningful and happy life.

Gen Kelsang Rabten is the National Spiritual Director for Kadampa Buddhism in Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane. His deep faith in Buddha’s teachings and the sincerity of his practice inspire many people to embark on a meaningful and rich spiritual life.
