Weekend Course & Guided Retreat
Buddha taught many methods for freeing our mind from any trace of negativity so that we can achieve our full potential and attain the happiness of enlightenment. On this weekend course, Gen Kelsang Rabten will explain the practice of the 35 Confession Buddhas, and give teachings from the book – The Bodhisattva Vow. By engaging in this practice we can eliminate negative karma, develop a mental environment that is always positive, and become able to help those in need. This course will be held in our city Temple which has the 35 Confession Buddha plaques on the walls making it easy to get to know each of these enlightened beings.
This weekend event will be taught by Gen Kelsang Rabten, the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane. Gen Rabten has trained under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over twenty-five years. His deep faith in Buddha’s teachings, and the sincerity of his practice inspire many people to embark on a meaningful and rich spiritual life.
Everybody is welcome to attend this weekend course regardless of experience. You don’t need to bring anything along. Seating is available on chairs.
