A Special Weekend Course with Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong
Saturday 22 September – Sunday 23 September · 10am–5pm · $150
If we want to be truly happy we need to work with our mind, gradually transforming it into love, compassion, and wisdom. On this course, Gen-la Dekyong will give teachings on how we can use meditation and reliance to transform our mind into these powerful positive states. This course will include transmission and commentary to the ‘Request to the Lord of all Lineages’ prayer which we can use to help us develop these states of mind that bring us closer to the peace and happiness experienced by all the enlightened beings.
Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong
Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong is the General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition and a highly experienced international teacher of Buddhism. She has been a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 35 years, during which time she has inspired thousands of people around the world through her sincere reliance on her Spiritual Guide, taking his teachings to heart and putting them into practice in every aspect of her life. Gen-la Dekyong will teach the weekend course.
Gen Kelsang Rabten
Gen Kelsang Rabten is the National Spiritual Director for Kadampa Buddhism in Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia. He has trained under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for more than 25 years. His deep faith in Buddha’s teachings and the sincerity of his practice inspire many people to embark on a meaningful and rich spiritual life. Gen Rabten will guide the meditations on the weekend course.

$150 – includes morning and afternoon tea. Booking is essential.
Lunch can be purchased in one of the cafes in the Spring Hill area – however food options in the area are limited on the weekend.
You can pre-book either a vegan or vegetarian lunch. Lunch consists of a baguette/sandwich, with a muffin, piece of fruit, and juice or water. The cost is $15 per day. Lunches must be pre-booked. Click on the link below to book.
