Mantra means mind protection. For centuries, mantra recitation has been used to attain a peaceful and happy mind by pacifying the negative thoughts that give rise to our problems. This is a simple and powerful method to attain a calm, controlled and positive mind. On this half-day course learn:

• The meaning of mantra
• How to combine mantra recitation with breathing meditation

Everybody is welcome to attend this course, regardless of experience. This half-day will consist of practical teachings you can apply in your daily life. The course will also include short guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful feeling in the mind and improve our ability to solve our daily problems effectively. There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.

The Teacher

The Teacher of this course is Buddhist nun, Kelsang Norjin. Norjin has been studying and practising under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 15 years. She teaches Dharma with warmth and humour.
