It is almost impossible to go through our life without feeling harmed or insulted by others, or without being hard on ourself for past mistakes. Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Rabten will explain:

• Practical methods for learning to let go of anger and resentment toward others
• The art of forgiving ourself

Everybody is welcome to attend this course, regardless of experience. This half-day will consist of practical teachings that are specifically related to the topic of the Art of Forgiveness. The course will also include short guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful feeling in the mind and improve our ability to solve our daily problems effectively. There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.

The Teacher

The Teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Rabten, the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane. Gen Rabten has trained under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over twenty-five years. His deep faith in Buddha’s teachings, and the sincerity of his practice inspire many people to embark on a meaningful and rich spiritual life.
