In our troubled world, it is increasingly difficult to ward off anxiety and stress. We can easily feel overwhelmed and unable to move ahead with the life we want. Meditation is an effective way to combat negative states of mind and create a sense of mental freedom. By gaining experience of Buddhist meditation techniques and positive thinking we can learn to control our mind, rather than allowing our mind to control us.

Guest Teacher, Gen Kelsang Lhachog – the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Sydney – will explain how we can stay calm in all situations, by learning to accept painful feelings without being panicked by them.

This online video course consists of two video classes. Each class includes practical teachings and short guided meditations to enable you to deepen your understanding of the topic. You don’t need to be a Buddhist, or have prior meditation experience, to benefit from this course. The course is suitable for everyone.

The Teacher

The Teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Lhachog, the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Sydney. With 25 years experience in meditation, Gen Lhachog explains Buddha’s teachings in a way that is practical, clear, and easy to apply to our daily life.
