Overcoming Anxiety

Many of us suffer from feelings of anxiety or are simply overwhelmed by the stress and demands of everyday life. In this workshop, we’ll explore meditation methods and ways of thinking derived from Buddha’s teachings that will help us to let go of our stressed and anxious minds and deal with our negative emotions more confidently and effectively. Everybody is welcome – no need for any previous experience of meditation.

This workshop will also be live-streamed for those wanting to watch from home. Or can be viewed for up to one week after the live event.

The Teacher

Gen Kelsang Ani is Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane. Gen Ani has been studying and practising Modern Kadampa Buddhism with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 15 years. Gen Ani teaches with warmth and compassion, making modern Buddhism accessible and applicable to all.
