Beginners Meditation Course

Learn to meditate on this beginners meditation course and learn all the basic instructions on how to meditate so that you can start your own meditation practice at home. This course includes teachings as well as short guided meditations so that you can practice the skills you learn on the course. There is also the opportunity to ask questions about your meditation practice. This course is available to attend in-person or as a livestream course to watch at home. In-person places are limited and booking is essential.

Gen Kelsang AniTEACHER
This beginners meditation course is taught by Buddhist nun, Gen Kelsang Ani. Gen Kelsang Ani is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Perth and the Visiting Teacher for Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane. Gen Ani has been studying and practising Modern Kadampa Buddhism with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 15 years. Ani teaches with warmth and compassion, making modern Buddhism accessible and applicable to all.

The Venue

Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane 109 Leichhardt St, Spring Hill. Ample free parking is available on Sundays in the streets surrounding the Centre.

Fees & Booking

$40 for an in-person class. Booking is essential as places are limited. We cannot accept walk-ins.

$25 to livestream the course at home.
