Connect with your own potential for inner resilience no matter what happens around you. On this course learn methods to build a strong foundation for happiness and confidence within your own mind. Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Rabten will explain:

• How to rise above negative habits of thinking with proven meditation techniques
• How to develop mental attitudes that support inner peace and mental strength

Everybody is welcome to attend this course, regardless of experience. This half-day will consist of practical teachings and short guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful feeling in the mind and improve our ability to find our inner strength. There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.

The Teacher

The Teacher of this course is Gen Kelsang Rabten, the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane. Gen Rabten has trained under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over twenty-five years. His deep faith in Buddha’s teachings, and the sincerity of his practice inspire many people to embark on a meaningful and rich spiritual life.
