Half-day Course · In-person or online
Sunday 22 November
Concentration makes our mind calm and peaceful. When we are enjoying internal peace and happiness our craving for external sources of pleasure naturally declines and it is easy to remain content, regardless of our external circumstances. In this course, learn how to train in concentration, both in formal meditation, and in the context of your daily life. Discover how this ability to direct your mind towards beneficial ways of thinking leads to unshakeable happiness and to flexible, creative responses to life’s challenges.
This half-day will consist of practical teachings and short guided meditations that will give rise to a peaceful feeling in the mind and improve your understanding of concentration. You don’t need to be a Buddhist, or have prior meditation experience, to benefit from this course. The course is suitable for everyone.
