Learn the art of reinventing yourself in this three-week series of classes. Weekly classes are suitable for everyone. In each class a different aspect of meditation and Buddhism is explained. The classes are self-contained so you can watch any week. Classes begin with a simple guided breathing meditation followed by a teaching and a second guided meditation based on the topic. No meditation experience is necessary, classes are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike. Everyone is welcome. Classes are currently being delivered as online videos for you to watch at home. Each video class is available for one week giving you the flexibility to watch at a time that suits you.
In this three-week class series learn the art of reinventing yourself through understanding how Buddhist teachings on impermanence and the nature of the self, enable us to see how we became the person we are and how to bring about real and lasting change.
Normally we are limited by our own perceptions, we find it difficult to change, and the changes we do make are within these limitations. However, if we understand the impermanent, changeable nature of things, we can put our creativity to good use and become someone who is free from faults and limitations – the best possible version of ourselves.

The teacher of this class is Gen Kelsang Drolkyi. Gen Kelsang Drolkyi is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane. Gen Drolkyi’s experience of Dharma makes her teachings clear and practical showing how everyone can learn to live a joyful life through Dharma practice.
We also offer regular half-day video courses that explore meditation and Buddhist topics in more depth. Each of these courses consist of two video classes that you can watch at home. Our next course is Overcoming Stress & Anxiety. In this course we will learn how we can stay calm in all situations, by learning to accept painful feelings without being panicked by them.
