Kids Classes are held on a monthly basis and are suitable for children aged 5 – 10 years. These drop-in classes introduce children to simple Buddhist teachings and meditations designed to help them develop a happy heart. Classes include short meditations, simple prayers, a short teaching and fun activities. We ask that parents attend the class with their children.
The teacher of this class is Andy Monaghan. Andy has been studying Buddhist meditation for over 8 years. He teaches with sincerity and humour, drawing on his own experience to help people learn how to cultivate happiness from within. Andy has two young children and understands how important it is for children to learn how to have a peaceful and positive mind.
